New Heavy Duty on-road catalogues for the UFI and SOFIMA brands

UFI Filters
  • First edition of the UFI and SOFIMA 2020/2021 paper catalogues dedicated exclusively to Heavy Duty on-road vehicles
  • The Truck and Bus range is growing, with 125 new references
  • Further development of the range is expected in the course of 2021

UFI Filters, a leading company in filtration and thermal management technologies, is expanding its truck range. For the first time, the new print edition of the ‘Truck and Bus’ 2020/2021 catalogues for both the UFI and SOFIMA brands is exclusively dedicated to applications for heavy duty on-road vehicles, such as trucks and buses: this confirms its role as an important reference source for customers.

The new printed edition of the ‘Truck and Bus’ 2020/2021 catalogues follows a significant increase in the range dedicated to heavy duty vehicles, with 125 new codes introduced since the previous edition: 16 oil filters, 25 fuel filters, 46 air filters, 34 cabin filters and 4 service filters; a total of 654 references in the catalogue, covering up to 11,500 applications. The catalogues are available online at and in the form of real, simple and user-friendly search engines. Just select the type of catalogue (car, truck, agricultural, motorcycle), the application (vehicle make, model and version), the product code, competitors and/or the size of the filter. The complete catalogues can also be downloaded from the Download page of the Aftermarket sites.

The layout of the paper version is based on that of the ‘Light Vehicles’ catalogues, which customers have found easy to consult. A new feature of this edition is the allocation of different covers to the two brands UFI and SOFIMA, as each has its own identity and specific range.

The layout and graphics guarantee easy consultation and understanding. In addition to the introductory pages presenting the company, the contents are developed over various sections, showing the new references in relation to the previous version, the replacement codes and the cross-reference search. The catalogue is organised on the basis of the applications (brand, model, version). In the final part, a handy ‘size chart’ shows the measurements of each product in the catalogue, together with a selection of typical images.

Onofrio Defina, COO & Sales Aftermarket EMEA Director with UFI Filters, comments: “It’s very important to regularly offer useful work tools to our customers, and to ensure easy access on various media, both paper and online. For years, the UFI Group has been investing in the development of its Heavy Duty range with a dedicated team of engineers, to offer OEMs the best technological solutions.”

“The heavy vehicle segment will be one of the cornerstones of the company strategy in the coming years, with significant investments in R&D and in the distribution network within the various European countries. We also expect a further notable increase in the truck & bus Aftermarket range for the UFI and SOFIMA brands in 2021,” he concludes.

The product quality pedigree has been widely demonstrated by the numerous manufacturers who have already chosen UFI (such as Daimler, CNH, SAME-Deutz-Fahr, MAN, Ford Otosan, Renault Trucks, Kamaz, JCB and Weichai, to name just a few), both for the truck world and for agricultural applications such as tractors, buses and off-road earthmoving machinery.

The Aftermarket benefits greatly from being able to count on products identical to the originals.
