Key role played in press visit of Berco’s headquarters

Task:

Berco is a global leader in the manufacturing of heavy machinery undercarriages and related components for both OEMs and the Aftermarket. An important member of the thyssenkrupp business unit ‘Forged Technologies’, Berco celebrated the opening of its new R&D facility by hosting its first ever joint European press visit of its headquarters. bmb-consult was tasked with inviting, informing and persuading high profile members of the European heavy machinery media to attend. The Munich-based PR agency was also entrusted with being present at the press visit to host all of the attendees.

Results:

Berco’s first ever European joint press visit was a great success with 19 trade media journalists from five different European countries attending. There, the journalists got a look behind the scenes at Berco’s cutting-edge technology. Indeed, they were particularly impressed with Berco’s new R&D facility which is home to its new ‘T&I’ (Technology & Innovation) team. The press event was enjoyed by all of the journalists present and resulted in a significant amount of online and print coverage throughout Europe.
