Berco hosts successful press event at Bauma 2022

Task:

For the first time since the pandemic, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment – Bauma – opened its doors in Munich during October 2022. As a global leader in the manufacturing of heavy machinery undercarriages and related components for both OEMs and the Aftermarket, Berco was on-site and hosted a ‘press breakfast’. bmb-consult was tasked with inviting, informing and persuading high profile members of the European heavy machinery trade media to attend and host all of the journalists.

• Identifying relevant European journalists
• Contacting, inviting and confirming participation
• Registering journalists for the event
• Assisting Berco on the ground during the event
• Emailing press kit and following up with journalists for feedback after the event
• Monitoring press coverage of the event

Results:

Berco hosted a very successful press event at Bauma 2022, with journalists from a host of different European countries attending. The journalists were informed about Berco’s latest cutting-edge technologies as well as the company’s innovative plans for the future. The press breakfast was enjoyed by all of the journalists present and resulted in a significant amount of online and print coverage throughout Europe.
